Psychotherapy Using Meditation and Somatics
Psychotherapy is an awareness process, giving special attention to your most important concerns with the presence and guidance of a trained therapist. Bringing deep awareness to ourselves and our situation, we are empowered to heal from hurts and grow towards full potential.
This inner work can be of great benefit whether you are facing positive challenges, normal problems of living, unusual difficulties, or extreme distress. Psychotherapy -- attending to and caring for the inner life -- is one way to maintain mental health. When therapy uses the powerful processes of meditation and somatics (body awareness), it is also a journey of discovery that connects you with wisdom that is not ordinarily available. Using meditation and somatics, we are able to tap into non-verbal, less conscious aspects of yourself. We work "holistically", honoring and receiving and using information from all parts of your whole being.
